His thread is still up in the druid forums here.
It’s Toskk’s good-bye thread. Looks like we’re losing another amazing druid, who has done a lot for this community. Since this game has been out for a number of years now, sometimes people just need to focus on other priorities in their lives. Since Toskk posted on a pretty crowded forum, I was afraid his goodbye post was going to get lost, so I wanted to bring it to everyone’s attention so that Toskk can get the send-off and thanks he deserves.
Best of luck Toskk with whatever you do outside of the game! If you ever decide to come back, I promise we’ll be waiting with open arms!

Unfortunately, it looks as if they deleted the thread.
Oh noes!
I found his “short” version on the druid forums. It’s a shame that they deleted all his observations that he only posted on DD…
Actually since I read his goodbye post and his observations it may be this proposal of Blizzard creating a legitimate RMT interface that killed it.
Which is a shame, he was dead on that the way to kill gold seller’s spammer is for Blizzard to create their own marketplace. I don’t mean sell gold directly that would just be bad. More like how EVE-Online does time codes would work better. However the AH and in game market would need to be completely revamped first.

They did a similar thing when BRK & Phaelia quit, as well. Our comrades are gone from the public WoW community, but they are not forgotten. [...]
